Narduzzi has to be considered for ACC coach of the year

Given that Duzz beat Dino and has the team in the ACC champshipnit seems to me he’d win over Dino
The only other option is Dabo but he has a stacked deck and is doing what was expected

Should go to Narduzzi. Harder schedule than most ACC teams, and we are one bad loss away from undefeated in conference play. Nearly beating ND at ND and cuse just got destroyed by ND.
This was discussed on ACC Radio this week by Mark Packer and Wes Durham. They had Babers as the leader, but acknowledged that Narduzzi had a great shot as well. They also mentioned that Dabo probably should win it every once in a while too.
Dabo can do what he does because they are Clemson. Syracuse, UVA, and Pitt even BC have the most difficult challenges, money, recruiting, fan base, and administration not completely buying in.
If you can do well at Pitt or Syracuse you are probably overachieving to some extent. If you win at Clemson you are just doing what is expected.
I thought of this yesterday. If they beat Miami and go 8-4, I definitely think he should win it. The most impressive thing to me,was how he got this team to turn around and win the coastal after a 3-4 start. There are a lot of teams that would have probably given up at this point. This team and fan morale was trending down during a few points this season (after PSU, after UNC, after starting 3-4). They have dominated the ACC the past few games. Also, this team went from not making a bowl (and finishing under 500 to winning the coastal). If they go down to Miami and win in a convincing way, he should have the ACC coaches trophy wrapped up.
I would vote for Narduzzi, but I don't think it's fair to act like Dabo is just chugging along and anyone would win there. The two coaches that covered the 15 seasons before him were combined to be around .500 in the ACC I believe. Their facilities have improved big time but they have to win recruiting battles vs. the best in the SEC and he routinely does. Recruiting should be considered part of it.
They could go the boring route and just give it to dabo. They could go a little off the charts and give it to Dino, a season where they made it as high as 12th. Or narduzzi is probably the most logical choice, no 1st place votes and ends up winning the division. I don’t see anyone else even having a chance, maybe bronco gets a vote or two, maybe a couple votes for addazio. I can’t see either of those guys actually getting the award though.
Babers will get it. Syracuse gets too much love. Ranked at #12 was a joke. Their hoops team is almost always overrated. He had a great year, but Narduzzi beat him. That should be the end of the story, but it won't be.
