i found this on his previous contract before his increase. Before his new contract extension, Narduzzi's base salary was about 1.8 million but with incentives it was about 3 million. That was his old contract. I would assume his new base salary is probably closer to 2.3 which means he is now costing at least 3.5 million per season.
He has a contract now until 2024. So as it stands right now, if Narduzzi was fired at the end of this year, he would be owed at least roughly 18 million dollars.
Last season, Pitt bought Stallings out for 9 million.
There is absolutely no way Pitt can pay 27 million dollars for buyouts, plus Capels contract, and a competitive salary for a new football coach.
Narduzzi is secure for at least 3-4 more seasons regardless of how record unless he does something that would make him able to be fired.
So we need to stop talking about Narduzzi getting fired.
