Pitt had a much better chance to win the game by gaining 1 yard and then 3 yards (on the 2 point conversion) if he didnt want to go to OT as he implied than he did making a FG, getting the ball back and scoring a TD.

My estimated probabilities of Pitt winning by a 4th and 1 and 2 point conversion: 20%

Estimated chance of winning by cutting the lead to 4, getting the ball back and scoring a TD: 5%-10%

These coaches need math people on the sidelines. They are all dumb.
