Spent $750,000 or more so far to push for Federal legislation to regulate how athletes are to receive money from endorsements--not fighting the endorsement concept overall but asking for a level field supposedly so it won't be more lucrative in some states vs others and thereby favor teams in those states over teams in other states in the recruiting wars.
Some skepticism in congress at least until the NCAA issues its guidelines in April. Not sure what to think about this whole matter. Does Fed legislation make sense? Is it really needed to prevent endorsements being more lucrative in some states vs others? How will all this effect Pitt's FB & BB?
