NCAA Relocating 2021 Division I Men’s Basketball Championship Sites

The NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Committee announced today the relocation of 13 predetermined preliminary round sites for the 2021 Division I Men’s Basketball

They probably should just set up multiple courts inside the Colts' dome and play it all there.

All the games are going to be televised. That has to factor into the logistics.

Plus in the Indianapolis area you have a lot of buildings that could hold games, especially if fans are limited. Obviously you can play in the dome. If the Pacers aren't playing you can play in Banker's Life. You could play games at Hinkle. You could play games in close by locations like at Assembly Hall at Indiana and Mackey at Purdue (both are about 50 or so miles from Indianapolis). If size of the building isn't a big consideration you could play at IUPUI's building. If you are going to move the tournament to all one area then you could do a lot worse than Indianapolis.

I saw a bad arena football game there during my college years. Must have been around ‘98. My only memory is that Billy West played in the game. Anyway, I’m shocked the place is still standing.
