New Pat signal

If its really offense, i do wonder if it will be a TE. Right now were basically practicing with one TE, waiting on freshman to arrive but i only see one of those freshman even have a chance at playing this year.

TE Flanagan from Rutgers

So about as useful as Devon Edwards....who is useless as a DE, so why not put him back to TE as a blocker again?

I'd prefer to give the ship to a hard working walk-on than some oaf from Rutgers.

I heard Coach Duzz say in an interview that Devon is back at TE. So with Flanagan coming in, that should tell you that the staff was still concerned about the depth at TE...

Go Pitt.

Was just gonna ask that question. If he's a good blocker he'll be valuable and he's only here for a year. They have a ship to give so if he can help in any way it's good.

right, we aren't expecting Gronk here. He's going to fill the role of the physical blocking TE. He's got some experience as a starter at a Big 10 school, is smart, and has size. He's well worth one years scholarship

I know nothing about him but I would gladly take a good run blocking TE for next year considering the lack of depth and how young the position will be. If this kid can run block then he is a good addition.

I know he is a blocking TE, but Rutgers completed less than 13 catches per game. They were that bad. They didn't even try in some games. They could be down 20 and they would run a QB keeper 3X in a row. Not sure if it's the whole offence, line, QB, or receivers. Just know that team was unimpressive. Hard to judge anyone coming from that situation.

Is Flanagan official ?

Rutgers is at best a Big 10ish school...
