I thought the 76ers used a similar Beaty Ross flag on their uniforms, which are made by Nike.

First... the shoes are dorky looking. That thick fat heel in particular. If the shoes were white, they'd resemble the shoes "Jimmy" invented in that Seinfeld episode. Don't... touch...JIMMY!

Second...as suggested by the first point... one is suspicious that they'd really intend to market such a dorky shoe. Perhaps more likely this was a publicity stunt between the company and Kaepernick. Who, himself, has not been able to get into the news for awhile. And the company might have done some internal research and felt they needed some more urban cred.

One can only hope it's something like this because otherwise the company officials are breathtakingly gutless and he's a breathtaking moron.
