To be crystal clear, I am saying they both suck! It's like watching a Syracuse vs BC game.
I"m not sure why, after getting the ball with 27 seconds left and 20 on the shot clock (after an absolutely awful call) you would decide to dribble the shot clock all the way down instead of just running your regular offense and take what presents itself.
Need to win at least four more and maybe one in the ACCT to make the play-in game in Weirton.
First Four at Weir HS gymnasium. The Weiton folks really do support this tournament
The good news is not only do we blow defensively, so does Carolina. Therefore, we have a chance. If we don't let RJ finish with 30, we might even win.
From that point on, North Carolina was 6-20 from the field and 0-5 from three.
Nice to see them finish the half on a good run to cut it to 3. I just have no faith in this team to win this game on the road. It will probably be close in the last 2 minutes but North Carolina will most likely hit the big shot and make more plays to win the game. It’s just how this season has gone so far it seems.
I thought that was a mistake by Guillermo passing the ball so late in the shot clock, but damn, did that work out well.
See, now there, after you've made your two foul shots, that's the perfect time to call a time out. Good thing we've been saving them.

Yea I hated that quick 3 attempt. Hang onto the ball and drive to the basket try and draw a foul on and get into the bonus.
