Only we would draw up an out of bounds play with all four guys moving away from the ball
Heartbreaking end. One of the most disappointing seasons in recent memory. Tough times Panther friends.
And the color announcer says, “nah, at that point in the game you don’t call a foul”
We played an NIT team fairly evenly. That's super.
And that's enough tournament talk for this year. Who the f#%k would want to watch this team play in the tournament?
Wow. Ending was a microcosm of why this team stinks

Would have been better letting them play it out without the time out.
They played hard. But Capel coached the team the same way he has all season and said he wouldn't all week. It was only close because Dunn had to leave the game and he was forced to go away from the 3 guard lineup that clearly doesn't work no matter how much Capel wants it too.
Well, they certainly don't know how to start them, either.

Yea, small victories at this point. We bounced back from the UVa debacle to prove we can play with NIT teams.

I dont think you call it anytime but these refs call games way too tightly in my opinion so in saying that, it should have been called because in the 1st Half, they call it
Well, we outrebounded them and only turned it over 6 times. Even though we suck defensively and play selfish offense with guys continually standing around and being spectators while coaching is piss poor, we at least can say we outrebounded them. And we played better than we did against UVA, which was the worst game by a Pitt team since The Pete opened. Good job, Pitt.
Every ref awards that And 1 though and so many times I am shocked when shooting fouls are given. Is this just me?
I can't even imagine how bad we'll be next season. Last place in the ACC is absolutely on the table.
This team is a disgrace and doesn't belong in the post-season. Carolina is an awful team that defends about as good as we do. Leggett is an A-10 guard. Once we lost Blake, he has been exposed. I can't take all the one-on-one bullshit anymore. Capel couldn't coach an 8th grade catholic team to make a play when needed. Capel must go.
I hate to say this but I was kinda hoping for Dunn's injury to keep him out of the game and the next several because for whatever reason, the team is worse when he plays.
He and Leggett are the same player. One-on-one hogs who never pass and we wonder why we can't get any ball movement. When either player gets the ball, the possession ends with them shooting or turning it over.
The ACC sucks. We'll have 10 new players and go 6-14. We arent going to go 0-20 or 2-18. This isnt the SEC. We will get some decent transfers. Enough to beat BC, GT, etc.
I don't even want to think about that. We'll have few returning players that can help and recruiting is a big zero so far. The portal is out there if we get lucky. But we still have the same coaches.
So monotonous. Same thing every game. When is Pitt going to get some good coaches here?
