The reason they brand it is that is because eventually while ESPN shifts to streaming, they will most likely offer streaming networks such as ACCNE to any cord cutter for a monthly price as they have just begun to do with ESPN+

As documented, people become conservative the older they get and the further away from college they get. But they also become technologically challenged. So help this dumb conservative out...do they archive games on Comcast? I watch my daughters games on espn3 via the internet and Apple TV. But can we go into Comcast and watch a game of hers or a pitt men’s soccer game at any time?

Actually, no, it does not appear Comcast will be showing ESPN3 replay content. In the future, who knows, but right now it appears to be just the live games.

BTW, Pitt @ #2 Akron tomorrow @ 7. Can the Panthers pull the huge upset. Some college soccer people are saying this could become a great derby rivalry. Game is on the new ESPN+ unfortunately

Ugh. I actually had ESPN+ and ESPN3 confused. I have to educate myself on such things. I subscribe to ESPN+ to watch my other kid play her college games. And there’s some euro soccer on ESPN+ as well. My Akron committed kid is just starting her junior in high school.

Thanks for the pitt reminder for tomorrow night. I may have to watch. Btw, didn’t Deandre Yedlin play at Akron? Hard to believe that I was watching my Chelsea Blues play a premier league match last weekend and Yedlin played a prominent role in the game. He was involved in a few of the goals.

Additionally, I have to find a way to watch English Championship football. Do you know where one can watch it? I have never watched it but I bet it’s a good product. I am going to adopt Derby County as my team. Frank Lampard is the Manager and Chelsea’s youth center mid phenom is loaned out to them this year.

Awesome Joe. Thank you for that info. I subscribed to ESPN+ this summer, as one of chelsea’s Exhibitions was on it so I figured I’d do the free trial. Then, my daughters conference switched to ESPN+ for their games, so I kept the service. It’s like $6 per month.

Regarding Duquesne, I gotta get down there this Fall and check them out. It’s such a great venue to watch a game. Hard to believe Kyra, Abby and Casey are in their last year. Maybe senior day would be a good game to choose.

I just went on my Comcast on demand. Hit Sports. Scrolled over till it came to Pitt-Albany where it said "airs tomorrow at 3:30". If this old f**k can do it, anyone can. But you can't DVR it on demand.

Not so sure. I was already signed on to espn3 on my computer thru Comcast wifi. When I tried it at my sisters I couldn't get the listing even though she also has Comcast. So I really don't know if everybody with Comcast can get it.

Well @Sean Miller Fan, guess where we are headed tonight? Thanks to your mention, We are going to Akron to check out the men’s game, staying the night and then watching the Akron women tomorrow. Maybe I will post updates on the Olympic board. With students just back and pitt there on a Saturday night, I expect great atmosphere.

We had flights booked for Florida to go see my other kid play this weekend but my dog fell ill and we backed out. He seems to be doing well so we will head to Akron for one night. Guess it was meant to be.

Missed the 1st half. My sky tv has no ncca content today. Wisiwig streams nit working either. But figured out vpn and sling tv . All good now!

Sling looks like a good cable cutting option at $25 a month.

As I previously posted, ESPN+ has the rights to show games every weekend. It may be possible that BeIn still has some of the rights, I don't get BeIn so I don't know.
