Ohio State Game Thread

My god Joe. Dead wrong. Dead wrong. Papa is literally one of the better players on the floor since he came into the game. I feel much better for Pitt now.

Yeah, if you only pay attention to what he's doing well (and he certainly has done some stuff well) and ignore everything else, he's wonderful.

14 minutes at center, two total rebounds, both on the same possession, none on the defensive end. Do we pay attention to that too, or no?

Kante

11 points
3 rebounds
1 steal
1 block
1 assist

14 total minutes of action in his 1st real game on the road coming off a major injury. OSU was shooting 71% before he came into the game. Thats now down to 54 percent. He's also +14, team best.

I mean, he single handedly turned this game around. But keep on going with your SMF / bballinsider denial.

He didn't single handedly turn the game around. But I get that someone who has pumped him up like he's an All American has to say that.

He still doesn't have a defensive rebound after he fumbled that last one away. Fortunately this time Leggett was there to pick it up.

OSU struggled to score the moment he came in. They were bricking shots and turning the ball over constantly.

Actually his first four possession on defense were three baskets and a missed dunk. So no, not really.

And edited to add, the fifth possession was his guy getting position on him and him fouling the guy. Of course the guy missed both foul shots, so I guess good defense, right?

Where was the foul on Ish? All he was doing was running after the ball... this game is being stolen from us

Ridiculous loose ball and rebounding fouls in overtime. O$U don't even need to hit a bucket to win in ovetime.

I'm not one to whine about refs but thats the most free throws I've ever seen rewarded in an overtime on non-shooting fouls...purposeful fouls to stop the clock excepted.

Dude, every single other person on here agrees with me. Papa was the spark. Easily noticeably to most

Do u count keeping balls alive? He had at least 3 of those. I seen him boxing out on the offensive side of the ball. Diaz NEVER gets position. He altered shots, blocked at least 1.
