Only 1 player in NFL history has intercepted a pass and thrown an INT in the same game...

What about Sammy Baugh? 1943 he lead the NFL with 11 INTs as a DB and threw 19 as a QB.

I believe the actual feat is that he is the only quarterback since the AFL-NFL merger to do both in a game. Before the merger, back in the early days of the NFL when almost everyone played both ways there were lots of guys who did it.

Speaking of famous Redskins (RIP), I remember an interview years ago with John Riggins. The interviewer was dredging up obscure famous facts of who did what, like who was the only player to throw a touchdown and dropkick an extra point. Yes, dropkick.
The interviewer asked Riggo if there is anything he wished he could have done to make a lasting memory. He thought for awhile and said 'Yes, there is, but it involved the cheerleaders'.
