under no circunstances can you as a civilian detain, impede the progress of another citizen. he has the right of self defence and you are liable foe any damages incurred. the citizen you are illegally impeding can use all force necessary to protect himself or his family. if he happens to carrying with permit ti carry you're in some deep shit.walk away mind you're business-read a book.
I appreciate the advice. I did not make a citizens arrest. I did the right thing and approached the driver and explained my concern for him and others who may be on the road. I did not accuse him of anything, just stated my concern. Unfortunately, he took this as a threat and thought I was going to get him fired (he was definitely high on marijuana at the time and confused). He called me a "female dog" and tossed my Vinyeard Vines package on the ground. I have another order coming tomorrow. Hopefully I can talk some sense into him.

those amazon dsp trucks all have a system in it called netradyne, damn big brother technology if there ever was one. these cameras pick up everything, from drifting thru stop signs to seeing if the driver is texting/cell phone, eating, drinking, etc.

Amazon driver in my neighborhood the other day must've figured it was faster for him to leave his sliding doors open so that he didn't have to take the time to open them to get the packages out to deliver. He was in front of me and he took a hard left turn from the main road onto my residential street. About 6 packages come flying out into the street. I was very close to running them over. My wife would've blamed me if I ran over a package she was expecting.

most deliveries are 2-3 on the same street. to expect them to close it every delivery is just not sensical. But yeah, when they do this, probably best to go slow to avoid packages going out the side door.
what's crazy, this system in these vans, they measure G force too so if a driver is taking a turn to fast, they get dinged for it. quick stops and hard turns are marked against them and their driving record..
