I posted something similar in another thread, but what I especially liked about last night's game was how the Pens played in the 3rd-period. After seeing how the Caps played in the 2nd-period, I expected them to come-out of the locker room breathing smoke 'n fire. But the Pens somehow, some way, took the life out of the Caps' attack.
And the final 3-minutes were a work of art: they kept controlling and dumping the puck into the Caps' zone, thus minimizing the chances for the Caps to insert the extra attacker. In essence, the Pens de-clawed what had been a powerful Washington offense.
