I had the pleasure of watching Lauryn run at States in, I believe, her junior year.

Her speed was absolutely astounding. The way she blew away the best in the state left no doubt where she was headed.
What’s interesting is a girl from Girard College high school in Philly broke her 100 meter record-which looked impossible to do. The girl was a freshman when she broke it. She will be running this weekend as she is now a senior.
