Wow... They are paying him 4 million a year ? In Morgantown?
wtf ?
and Pitt pays their coach what ?
Duzzi is at 1.83m and stallings is less than this. So in short, our bball HC probably makes 1/3 (maybe a slight more) than what WVU pays their coach.

I know I know, this is all the fans fault. we don't give enough.

Good coach....has stood the test of time including a difficult conference change with no recruiting base....same can’t be said for someone else who comes to mind.

The more $ that comes = the more $ you can spend on coaches. Easy concept.

You do know that he didn’t start out at 4 mil. The guy has been there like 15 years or something like that. Comparing what Pitt pays to WVU is a false equivalency.

Do the Hoopies fans give significantly more?

HCPN makes significantly more than $1.83M.

not according to his tax return.. base is 1.3m.

Of Narduzzi's total salary, $1.31 million came from base compensation, with an additional $450,000 coming from bonus and incentive compensation. His salary is slightly higher than that of former coach Paul Chryst in his final year at the school, a span in which he earned $1.7 million from July 1, 2014 to June 30, 2015.May 16, 2017
Tax documents: Pitt's Pat Narduzzi made $1.83 million in 2016 ...

3 things:

1. That is from 2015.
2. That doesn't factor in the raise he got in December 2015.
3. It does not include multiple streams of revenue (which is expressly allowed outside of his direct Pitt compensation, but is included in the contracts which are released by Public Universities and published in the yearly USA Today rankings) outside of direct Pitt taxable payments.

So, a pretty basic estimate is that HCPN probably makes somewhere closer to $3M than $1.8M.

3 million lol, you are out of your mind

The 12/2015 raise alone puts his University pay close to $2.5M and then the additional revenues, which will never be reported by Pitt unless they go fully public, make up the rest.

Who knows I hope you're right
