The thread on the one-year anniversary of the Pitt uniform reveal just made me realize how poorly that could've gone. Both, the Bucs and Falcons had easy choices just like Pitt did to make an instant upgrade by just going back to what they wore 30 years ago.
The okay: The Bucs went with this.
Mostly, just a refresh of the early 2000s uniforms. I get the nostalgia for Bucs fans there. It's where their success happened. It's a vast improvement over what they've been wearing. That said, the creamsicles scream Florida to me and instantly would be a top-five NFL uniform.
The terrible: The Falcons made a lateral if not downward move with these.
They're modern in an XFL way. Gradient is always terrible no matter how many teams try it. The gray facemask makes no sense as a touch of old-school uniform design with these modern atrocities. Just a huge failure when the throwback on the far right is far superior to these.
