That was my reaction to seeing that, at the time that I voted, a whopping 88% had voted "Yes", Urban Meyer is an amoral, pathological liar.
Well, he very clearly is a world class jagoff. I thought that issue had already been long settled.
It was my understanding that everyone knew when he was coaching at Utah that he was a jerk and it was certainly clear by the time he coached at Florida.
By the time Meyer got to Ohio State, it was just an accepted fact that he is a phenomenal coach but a massive a-hole as a person. However, the latter was tolerated because of the former — as is often the case with coaches.
It’s my fiery competitor principal. If the announcers describe a coach or a quarterback is a “fiery competitor,” it basically means that he’s a jerk but everyone puts up with it because he’s good at what he does.
So what new information has emerged on this particular “fiery competitor?”
The Ohio State fans will really start to hate him when he takes over at USC after next season.
