OT: Steelers Bengals

I asked for any instances where the lol “experts” on this thread’s scenario has actually worked.

Crickets

Well, OK, since you brought it up again, just today the Titans called their last timeout with 23 seconds left in the half after completing a pass in bounds. On the ensuing 3rd down play, rather than just settle for a field goal they threw a 27 yard touchdown pass.

But yeah, I know, they were at the 27 yard line and not the 16. So completely different, right?

Asking us to cite occasions when it does work would be like us asking him to cite occasions when it doesn’t. Both literally happen every single week.

23 seconds does not equal 10 seconds.

I know that is difficult math

It wasn't 10, it was 13. Which meant that had they called their timeout they would have had two chances for a touchdown, not one.

But I have to say that you did exactly what I expected. No, it wasn't exactly 13 seconds at exactly the 16 yard line. I can't give you an example of that exact scenario. If you think that makes you right, OK, fine. But just know that everyone else is laughing at you right now.

6 penalties on Porter is like a left tackle holding TJ watt on every play. When do you see them call it more than once or twice?

I can’t believe they had a holding to stop the clock, you always tell your players that’s a worst case scenario. Also can’t believe Cincinnati fell for that, was pretty obvious Fields was going to keep it there.

Hoping Kenny has to come on in relief in the next game and do what Kenny does…beat the Ravens.
