It's pretty remarkable that the Steelers last losing season was 2003. Imagine being able to order a beer at a bar and never having lived during a Steelers losing season.

Imagine the Steelers not finishing in last place since the 1980’s…essentially as long as it’s been since pItt was a national power in football.

Miserable for celebrating 9 wins like it’s the Super Bowl? I disagree. Lol.
No one is celebrating the winning record thing lol. You guys just get mad because announcers mention it every game. Who cares? It's a talking point--just like Sam Young plays the piano, Levon Kendall scored 40 against the U.S. national team, James Conner had cancer and played at Pitt, etc.

You’re not wrong. But not entirely right either.

Gotta give Tomlin huge props. I was not a huge fan of smith even though he was clearly upgrade over Canada. (Anyone with a pulse would be though). But smith has really maximized the talent they have and the OL is playing pretty well

Also Wilson’s a huge upgrade. I defended Picket but Wilson’s experience, composure and ability to improvise has been huge. Will be interesting to see how they match up against the eagles and chiefs.

Well, the Steelers have a Hall of Fame coach, a hall of fame QB, playing like a Hall of Famer , a couple of hall of fame D line (Heyward/Watt), they have a real shot at making a run for all the marbles this year. I think they beat the Chiefs on Christmas. key is staying healthy.

I remember about a month ago before the trade deadline, Hoke was on the fan and said on air that the Steelers WR is better than just about everyone has said.

Well just about everyone disagreed. He may have been onto something.

No they're not amazing, but this is a workable group. Could they use an upgrade, definitely so, but they're doing pretty ok since Russ came in.

The wide receiver group looks a lot better when you have one of the top QB's throwing to them ! Wilson makes the Steelers a legit threat to do damage in the post season.

The Stillers wide receiver group is well below average on the whole. Pickens isn't a high level number one. They have no real number two. Austin is OK as a three, but nothing more than that. And the rest of them are nothing more than just a guy. Guys like Jefferson and Skowronek are a dime a dozen.

The Stillers completed 29 passes yesterday. Wide receivers caught seven of them. Tight ends caught nine of them. Running backs caught 13 of them. The split doesn't look like that because the receivers are good, or even average. It looks like that because the receivers are, on the whole, well below average.

Yeah -
Not sure why Mike Williams isn’t getting more targets
