The Fightin’ Dixons jump out to an early 10-4 lead over top-seeded Arizona. They have a lot of flaws but they’re a fun teams to watch (couple threes to start, put-back dunk).

I will be interested to see how long TCU can keep that level of energy. UA won’t cave. They will keep running and TCU has to keep up.
I'm rooting for Jamie to pull this one off and get to the Sweet 16. Even if he doesn't, he's made that TCU program into something pretty good now.
Makes me wonder what could’ve been. Then again, perhaps a fresh start was what he needed.
He needed a more supportive AD and booster group. More $ for better assistants and facility upgrades.
Dixon had a .727 winning % at Pitt. The guy has ALWAYS been a good coach.
Arizona is really the most unlikable team I have seen in this tournament. Bunch of hot dogs, they never shut up, and they wine about everything.
That wasn't the point of my comment. TCU seems to play a different style of offense than we used to play under JD. Trying to understand why Dixon apparently has changed his approach.
Simply making the tournament at places like TCU and Pitt are accomplishments. Winning in the first round just enhances the accomplishment. If you or anyone else thinks losing to Arizona is a black mark, then you either don’t understand basketball or you are dumb. Take your pick.
Dixon losing in the 2nd round (or less) is a given. Just stating the obvious.

Conveniently, losing to Arizona is only a great loss whenever Sean Miller isn't coaching. Otherwise, it's a bad loss and he sucks. Pitt fans never seem to amaze me with their stupid analysis.

You’re making a lot of assumptions there. Who said anything about Miller? It has nothing to do with him and everything to do with the fact that Arizona is a top seed.
Win or lose - this has been an impressive performance.
I’ve definitely been impressed by their resiliency. Arizona had them on the ropes multiple, and that amazing dunk could’ve been a dagger, but they’ve responded every time.
TCU better extend him after the game, so he doesn't talk to every school on the western seaboard about their coaching vacancy.
Getting TCU to the tournament is even more of an accomplishment than at Pitt. They had zero basketball tradition. Pitt at least has the 2 National Championships.

The Chancellor, AD, high powered boosters, and fans that thought it was Pitt’s God given right to make the Sweet 16 every other year f’ed up a good thing. Pitt should have put more $ into facility upgrades and assistant salaries. But I guess people like yourself are still too stupid to this day to realize we had a good thing.
