This year is hard to pick, because not one team has stood out.

If I had to choose one it would be Golden St since they've done it before, however they weren't very impressive against Memphis.

**just saw that OP stated "want"...It would be Boston because I like they're coach Ime Udoka....."my only regret was too young for Nia Long"😁

Also like Tatum and Brown.

I think I'm pulling for Dallas or Golden State. I wouldn't hate a Miami win. Basically anyone but Boston. I hate Boston.

I don't really like any of these teams, but I went with Miami even though I have money on GS and Dallas.

I love the way Jimmy Butler plays. I'm not sure the Sixers will ever recover for letting him get away, especially since they could have easily resigned him and traded away Simmons at that point for a much better haul than they ending up getting (a broken down Harden).

Yes, Sixers certainly played the wrong cards. Especially trading for Harden.

Rooting for the Warriors.
However, I'll be happy for the Heat if they win.
The Heat have to be one of the best NBA teams ever made up of players either not highly recruited or not drafted in the lottery.

Three of the Heat's top five scorers were lottery picks, and the other two were non-lottery first round picks.
To add to this…

It’s basically just Jimmy Butler that was lightly recruited. Five of the Heat’s top players were in the Rivals top 150 for their year and four of those were top 50. And seeing as Oladipo played at IU, I wouldn’t call him lightly recruited.

Adebayo: 5* (7th)
Lowry: 5* (28th)
Herro: 4* (36th)
Morris: 4* (49th)
Oladipo: 3* (144th)

I literally thought the same thing when the original comment was made; that said, I think the comment itself goes more toward player identification/development.

Adebayo, Herro, Robinson and Strus are guys that were not picked very high (Adebayo and Herro were outside of the top 10) and yet the Heat have gotten a lot of mileage from. The Heat organization is top notch and they know how to identity, develop and blend talent.

Yes, this is correct. They're player development and culture is phenomenal.
Plus my original response was that they are not made up of top lottery picks (1-5).

These guys play a major role in how well they've done this year.
Max Strus - undrafted
Gabe Vincent - undrafted
Duncan Robinson - undrafted

I clicked on this thread thinking the Final 4 was just set today based on the thread and didn’t realize it was almost two weeks old. I found it interesting that these were the 4 teams left. Kinda cool Dallas is still in it. Do they have a chance? Maybe they’re out of it by now and I’m late to the game here?

Dallas lost to Golden State in a gentlemen’s sweep. Meanwhile, Miami and Boston play in a Game 7 tonight to determine who represents the East. I don’t follow much NBA (I would if Pittsburgh had a team), but I get the sense that the Warriors used the two years they were down to re-tool and collect young talent. They look like a machine again.

Now that Miami’s super team days are over, I find it easy to root for them. They remind of the Grizzlies from ten years ago when they had; very gritty team with a good culture, like you mentioned. I hope they win tonight.

Yeah. I went and looked after I posted. My brother is a die hard Warrior fan going back to the don Nelson days and Tim Hardaway days. I’m not going to tell him that I had no idea his team was already in the final.

Good for him, I always respected their fanbase for remaining loyal during their down years (too bad the team didn’t return the favor and moved out of Oakland).

For as much hate as they got during their first run, I respected them because (besides Durant) everyone was homegrown.

The perfect combination of fun and profit is betting on basketball games. Since I was a kid, I have been a sports fan and have always been a huge fan of the NBA. I am in contact with the latest news from the league because I regularly read articles and watch matches. The problem was that I had no idea how to make money from my passion. The secret is simple: you need to do some research on the game before placing your bet. You can read statistics on NBA from the best experts about the teams' tactics for the last games and all about the players' moods.
