OT: worst movie you paid money to see in a theatre:

I would say Deadpool, but my brother paid for it. The worst I saw was The Blair Witch one, and the only one we walked out of was Single White Female, but mostly because my girlfriend wanted to leave, but I agreed it was awful.

The list of bad movies I paid to see is long though, when you are on a date and just wanting to see whatever, usually that is going to be bad.
Deadpool is terrific

The original "point break" was it. Actually thought the Crying Game was a very good movie.
Point Break is in the rarest, smallest category of film genres: Movies that are so bad, they're good. Swayze has the dubious distinction of being in two such movies: Point Break and Roadhouse. From any critical, artistic, or technical standpoint, those are two embarrassingly terrible movies. Yet the stuff that makes them so bad-horrible writing, dialogue, plot line and acting-make them highly enjoyable, as long as you have a sense of humor.

As for the original inquiry, my wife and I got up and walked out of The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen after the first 10 minutes years ago. Not sure what we were expecting as it was one of those things we did before we had kids on a rainy day while on vacation in a small town with one small theatre with no other choices, but it was totally unwatchable.

horrible dialogue in Point Break?? Are you serious? My three favorite quotes of all time are from that movie...

Boogie nights. The firecracker scene bothered me so much that I wanted to walk out of the theater. Now I will add that I watched the movie years later and now enjoy it
Took my wife to the twilight movies and I found myself counting ceiling tiles during the middle of the movie.

Oh, I'm not saying the movie isn't quotable. Quite the opposite.

It's just really, really bad. So much so that you gotta love it.

"You're young, dumb and full of come."

"Utah, get me two!"

"Cool it Roach, don't you know who this is? This is Johnny Utah, quarterback, Ohio State Buckeyes."

"Come 3 o' clock he will gut her like a pig"

"Rosie, he's like a mechanism, once you set him motion, he will not stop."

"I came across a piece in the meat in the Baja, turned out to be Rosie."

I'm of Greek descent, and to me "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" was ABSOLUTE PURE GENIUS, but "Big Fat Greek Wedding 2", pretty much sucked, they could've done something original, all they did was rehash the best jokes from the 1st one so many times it wasn't funny anymore.
I actually always envisioned you as a man with men dancer....funny how things work out...
