The league is heavily dependent on gate sales for revenue as their tv money is not strong enough at this point to support the league. Couple that with their need to generate fans in their markets to build success through engagment and fan attendance... they are staring at playing in empty stadiums for the last 4 weeks of the season.

this will hurt their growth massively at the local level where they need it most. does it derail them in their first year?

i am pulling for this league and have been watching some games. i like the idea of having a sub-league in non football times that gives a feeder product.
