I went back and watched it again. I thought they called the contact after the ball was in the air.
I guess a Hail Mary you can just rip a jersey and hold the guy back, much worse than Mitchell did (which he did, just a terrible bonehead play on his part)
The worst part was that's who Peterman was looking at the whole way, which most likely means that was his primary receiver. What a dumb idea.
What a cheap shot on Conner. Helmet first when the play was over.
Yeah that was absolutely ridiculous. I have no respect for a crew that lets that garbage happen.

Just an overall ugly game by Pitt as if they had no game plan, no preparation, no passion or intensity whatever.

Jay Stocker blew a couple key assignments when he replaced injured Webb. They both allowed NW to get big gains to wide open receivers.
We have had so many injuries to key personal when we are already thin at crucial positions.
