Pitt at ‘Ville Gamethread

Hopefully Capel is smart enough to sit Jeffress for the large majority of the second half. He should only be used if absolutely necessary.
Isn’t it awesome watching Will run around with 0 idea what he’s doing? I love when he gets the ball on the wing, looks each way ten times, drives into a defender and kicks it back out, it’s his best skill

Collier needs to be a little more aggressive, but he is making some progress. More than Jeffress at this point.

He's big and athletic with limited offensive game. It's disheartening to see him play soft. He's of little value without some dog in him.

Thank goodness Horton is hitting shots.

I am starting to think Noah can play at this level if he can learn to make free throws. His defense and awareness is still a bit weak as we gave up to many easy paint points. That said, there is some noticeable growth with him.

I can see some growth and potential with him. He obviously needs to work on his shot and get tougher (hitting the weights will help).

A lineup of Hugley, Mo, Femi, Horton, and Burton might be able to win this game. Sit Jeffress already and have him spell guys coming off the bench.

That's like three or four defensive possessions in a row where they took an uncontested shot before we started actually playing defense.

We are shooting 45% on the road on offense against the best defense we have played all year.

Better Spacing = Better Offense

Hugley is a beast now and Gueye is really improved.
We need some damn recruits and some luck to fall our way soon.
