In 2016, Pitt had 4, PSU had 4, and Alabama had 2. There were also 3 schools that had 6 Pro Bowlers. The point about Pitt having a surprisingly large number of top players in the NFL is certainly true, but I do not see that as an indication that Pitt is producing better players than any other school, which seems to be your original point.

My big ten? I'm just pointing out some facts. I do not know where you got your numbers, but the NFL Pro Bowl website lists 4 PSU players in the 2016 game, and 2 from Alabama. Maybe they are wrong.

I went to Alabama because I wanted to and loved it and both schools. I don't hide that. I also have been a Pitt fan since I was born and my family is far more connected to Pitt and Pitt athletics than you are. Absolutely no doubt of that.
Sure. Great place, especially if with a family. All depends on budget and focus, but it is a very good option.
Great area, and it IS THE budget area to go to. Much cheaper accommodations. If you are college age and want the party atmosphere, head east to Panama City not far at all away, I think PC is an absolute sh!thole, but it is a party town. If you want a nice place with more to do, go to Destin. All these places are near each other. Orange Beach is a nice beach, watch the jellies though, my kids always leave with a sting.
Isn't it funny when our rival schools go 8-4 or 7-5 and they are "irrelevant" and "mediocre" but when we do it, we are "pretty good".
