For crissakes he was down
There’s zero reason to review at all
There’s no way the ball touched a Pitt player. Total BS call.Man, this is awful.
GT and Pitt - Identical TwinsHow does Pitt always get effed by refs like this. Always.
Disgusting and refs have bets on games.So now, instead of getting the ball in BC territory, we start on our own 14 yard line. Man, did Pitt get screwed.
New Pitt Mascot;Some people here say that Narduzzi is a whiner on the sidelines, but O’brien is the worst.
Is there a team in America that starts more series behind the sticks? It seems like every first down we lose 3,4, or 5 yards and start 2nd and 14. Simply stupid.Converted on a third and long. Keep it going.
Well, the ACC gave a good CYA answer. If there is no clear cut evidence (according to them] that the ball did or did not hit a Pitt player first, they have to go with what was called on the field.And now they say that the ACC review people told them that was the reason. They couldn't see if the ball hit him or not so they assumed that it did.
That's just batshit crazy. That is not how replay is supposed to work.
Seriously. Been like that for a while. Our offensive efficiency on first down is pathetic.New Pitt Mascot;

I think our safety coverage might have all of them beat. Horrible.What's worse ,officiating or our offense?
Not going to argue with you, but they don’t have to prove the ball hit him, they just have to see if there is any video evidence to support either side…if not (once again, according to them), the call on the field stands.But that's not even a CYA answer. If you can't see that the ball hit him you can't assume that it did. There if is no video evidence that something happened you can only say that it didn't, not that it must have. There was no camera angle at all that showed that the ball hit him.
