Just a simple overlooked observation here (rather than bitching about usage of timeouts and/or clock management)…

During the 1st Down catch, when the clock is stopped to set the flags, why would WR Reynolds rush to hand the referee the ball?

This action only causes the clock to start sooner rather than allowing the offense time to set up for the spike upon the placement of the ball.
