Okay. Get Yippy Yipkovec the f*ck out of this game. One lucky throw; I get it. But we can't have this shit again.
If you can't complete that pass you can't play at this level.
So my wife doesn't watch football at all and just sat down and the first play she watched (maybe in years) was that Jurkovec throw into the ground. She laughed out loud.
Ok, is someone here going to defend Phil and say he threw that into the feet of the TE to save a bad play?
It’s Ok. Narduzzi will watch the tape and they will learn from it. It’s hard to teach players those kind of situations before they happen. Other coaches can, but we need to learn through experience.

Narduzzi just wrote in his notebook, remind Phil to snap the ball.
That pass to Epps should be enough for any coach that isn't brain dead to try another quarterback. Phil is just beyond horrible.

Adjustments at halftime shouldn’t require you to tell the qb to throw the ball higher.

Hayes makes a great play to break through the line to stop the QB, and then forgets that you have to actually tackle him to end the play.
I was wondering how Hayes could have the QB in a bear hug 3 yards behind the LOS and no other defender could get over there in that time. Then I saw Nick Lapi enter the screen, lol. Inquiry satisfied.
Or throw, or punt, etc. Basically, any verb other than suck. We can do that.
Very untypical Pitt defense. We were ranked first in fewest missed tackles just a year ago. These guys need to play with more ferocity
