Louisville won handily by 84-61. Odd game in that Pitt lost by 23 but outscored Louisville in the first and third quarters. Seems like Pitt always has 2 quarters where they really struggle to score - tonight they scored only 7 points in the 2nd and 12 in the 4th.
Louisville had 3 "forwards" who could not be stopped -- combined, they shot 27 for 37, which is a ridiculous 73%. The team overall shot 58%.
A bright spot for Pitt was Stasha Carey shooting 9 for 16. Glad to see her taking that many shots. However, Pitt was out-rebounded 34 to 18 with Louisville's total including 15 offensive rebounds. Yikes. Stasha led Pitt with only 5 boards. Double Yikes.
