Agreed... They have a high upside... But also, a low ceiling... Right now we're seeing too much bad to have any sort of confidence.

I dont think 21-9 gets it done in this ACC. And two years of NIT and 3/4 years not in the big dance.... How many other programs that place importance on BBall would accept this shite?
There isn't an upside.
They don't want to Play defense so they can't win consistently.
Artis and Jeter are the perfect personification of this team.
And that's not a good thing.
I guess the upside in the beginning of the season was there, & now has vanished... Maybe we'll make the NCAA Tournament... We'll see
I said it then, too.. So this isn't emotional...
You have to play winning defense to win games.
The idea of outscoring everyone, as a jump shooting team...
Was always a very flawed concept.
I feel the same way about Pitt hoops right now as I did back in the day of Paul Evans-generally respectable but not really going anywhere. Hell, this team hasn't even showed up in 3 of the last 5 games. Losing is one thing and not even working up a sweat and playing like you care about the outcome is something altogether different. In the NIT game last year, the team looked like they had quit and that's exactly how they have looked in the last three losses. It's a mess!
So far, more people think we'll miss the Tourney than make it...

That's about right though I think that's more like an 11 or 12 seed, which would be great. Much rather be seeded there than 8/9.
