These are the other teams with an ACC winning record in descending order:

Pitt played, UNC, Duke twice, UVA away, Wake twice, Clem twice and Syr twice

That is 10 games against the other winning 6.

How many of the other six has a schedule that can compare?

We clearly belong in ACC top 4. Our position is no fluke.

The ACC will get 4-5 bids.

I think you're splitting hairs with the ACC schedule. Once you get past UNC & Duke, you're just talking about mediocre/bad teams.

The point is we basically played a round robin of "the best" of the mediocre/bad teams.

We are clearly the top 3 (schedule adjusted) or 4 ACC team.

Even if the ACC gets "only 4", we should be one of the four.

Clearly? Why would you say clearly?

Pitt is ranked 24th in the country in efficiency metrics over the course of the last 10 games, and that includes a complete ass kicking we took to Wake Forest which skews these numbers to the downside.

Our offense over this stretch is pushing top 10 in the country with 2 freshmen guards.

You can call people mediocre all you like, but

1) Pitt and Jaland Lowe has vastly improved as this season moved forward. Even Ray Charles himself could see that.

2) I told this board multiples times that this team has another gear if Bub Carrington's 3 point stroke regained high school form. And that has absolutely happened the last 5 or 6 games or so and our offense is plowing teams.

I dont care what our net is or our Q1 / Q2 resume is. We are going to be a very dangerous team entering this ACC Tournament, and I look forward to playing North Carolina in the semifinals.

Its interesting that they played 10 games vs the other 6 highest seeds and and the other 10 vs the other 8 but they arent going to look at that.

For contrast who Virginia played:

UNC home, Duke away, Pitt home, Wake twice, Clem away, Syr home

That is 7 against the winning 6 and "only 3" away.

We finished one game "behind" them and beat them at home.

Virginia played only 7 and only 3 away.

And they have as many wins in those 7 as we do in those 10. Your point would make more sense if plain old records mattered a lot more than they do. But "only" being 21-10 is not the issue.

Plus they knocked off Florida and A&M in the non-con.

Clem and Wake played 1 less game against the winning 6.

For Clem 5 away, for Wake 4 away
