This is a game that 100% of Pitt's fanbase view with disinterest. This is a game that Eastern Michigan is completely thrilled to be in. Add the fact that this is a home game for EMU as their campus is 40 miles away. Combining this with Narduzzi's inability to prepare a team to win this is a dangerous situation for Pitt.

So Pitt is playing an inferior opponent, at their home, with little motivation. If Narduzzi loses this game, he clearly.is not capable of coaching Pitt.

Biggest game of his coaching career.

They've averaged 13,653 for the last 5 years at home (some of their BETTER teams), is every one of those 13,653 going to Ford Field the day after Christmas with students away for the holidays? Maybe a home crowd advantage, but doubt it will be a strong one. Maybe 20-25,000 total rattling around in a 65,000 seat Ford Field, and some of those 20-25,000 will be rooting for Pitt.

If he can't prepare his team to HANDILY beat a pathetic 6-6 MAC team then he should resign.

Would be the most embarrassing Pitt loss in years and that is really saying something.

Probably closer to 15,000 total, and that includes TV viewers. I won't be watching because I really don't care about an exhibition game against a no-name opponent and I'll be on a plane at that time anyhow.

EMU is horrible. One of the worst bowl teams in the history of bowls

How is a game that no one save 483 real Pitt fans and about 27 Penn State fans care about the biggest game of a coach’s career?

th

Its the Quick Lane Bowl stupid!
PITT's going to roll over them.Pow!
Pow!
Pow!

Kill Bowl because we're running them over.

They average 13000 like Pitt averages 45k-The real number is about half of that. EMU is a commuter school. Their own students don’t give 2 $hits about EMU football.

And the original post is nonsense.

It’s pretty classic to bitch and moan about a bowl that doesn’t even exist and Pitt isn’t playing in even if it did

I believe Pitt will win. However in the event we may lose I'm really interested in Narduzzi's presser. I wanna hear what nonsense excuses he dreams up this time.

Wrong for many reasons. While we may be disappointed that we’re not in a more prestigious bowl, to say that we’re gonna view with “disinterest” is wrong.

Saying that this game is the biggest of his coaching career is weird; your putting that much emphasis on it would mean that if Pitt wins, it would then be the biggest win of Narduzzi’s career.

Summary:
-gotta go back and look at the tape
-missed some opportunities in the red zone and ended up kicking. Need to score TDs when you’re down there.
- we’ll get that cleaned up for next week
-not gonna beat many people with 19 points.
-lost to a good football team. Very well coached. (Insert opposing HC) has done a great job over there.
-Kessman was great. What was he, 4-4?
-I’ll tell you something, that team played it’s tail off for 40 minutes against us.
-really proud of our kids they left it all out there.

Narduzzi meaningless cliches aside, Pitt should roll in this one. This is a piss poor opponent that is seriously outmatched at every position. Then again so was Delaware.....

I can’t see them crossing midfield without the benefit of Pitt turnovers and penalties. Pitt should be able to run the ball with ease on these guys even with our FCS-level O line. In the highly unlikely event of a Pitt loss or even a close win, Heather should just hand Narduzzi his suitcase and tell him to walk back to Youngstown.

Defense will show up. Offense, well, Ive been doing my prayers every night wishing for an offense that scores TDs and owns the second half.
Will Santa bring our offense more than 20 points?

It’s hard being a Pitt fan. In 2016 we had the best statistical offense in school history. Since then we have been one of the worst in all of D1. In this era of high scoring where most teams, including all of the best ones, are trying to maximize tempo and number of possessions, we are plodding along with a QB that has to run to the sideline to get every play and averaging an anemic 20 ppg.

You almost have to try to be that bad.

Ya, that pretty much sums it up.
