1. I know people say we can't recruit and we don't at a 5 star level, but there is enough talent on this roster to win this game.
QB- KP would start and play well for UNC
RB - Ollison and Hall both start/play for most ACC rosters
FB - Aston is probably as good as pitt can get at that position
WR - Mack has started for a Big Ten and ACC school and has size
WR - French get robbed out of targets and PT - kid is an athlete would start for UNC
WR Group - Mathews has to be able to play in the redzone and get jump balls, Shocky elite speed
LT - good college starter for 4 years
LG - good enough to get all acc honors rating last week
C - Played solid since he came
RG - undecided
RT - Should be playing guard and preparing for NFL
*Offensive has maybe 2 WR ?s and 1/2 OL ?s -- What team in american doesn't?
DE - Weaver is a stud lucky to have him
DT - Camp/Watts both tough
DE - Not great
OLB - All ACC
MLB - Stud - Lucky to have (injury deal)
OLB - brightwell led the team at MLB last year
CB - Dane All ACC
FS - 4 star Hamlin
SS - not great
CB - not great
Again - 2/3 question marks - what team doesn't have that
Talent is there to compete period...you can argue recruiting is good/bad whatever talent on this roster is good enough when you look around the country (not bama/osu/clemson).
2. PENALTIES are killing wins weekly. Sorry HCPN that's coaching unless its 1 out of 12 games, but weekly its you.
3. I don't know how to quantify this but we can't "hide" pickett. He has to run and keep the defense honest similar to the way HCPC used Chad V. If he get hurt he gets hurt (not wishing it on him), but we don't have WR studs and need every advantage possible.
