I don’t know if Duck will ever be good enough but he does seem to have something you can’t quantify or measure. And he’s pretty poised.
Or maybe I’m just in that trap of the next guy can’t be any worse. Haha. But he just carries himself with poise especially for someone so young and coming from a lower level program.
He has a gunslinger and nothing to lose attitude and just looks like a positive guy. It's contagious and that is what you're picking up on IMO.
Glad TB had a nice game always great to see a former PITT guy do well.Nice move by Tomlin, Rudolph has stunk lately.
Still had a very nice game regardless.....Boyd had the fumble that changed the game ... he made two nice catches but I would bet that he would say that his game was subpar today.
And the coaches need to be telling him that before the play. That was horrible, no problem rolling him out but you gotta just take the sack if it’s not there.
Really bad execution there
He stinks think Tommy Boy Maddox. a jobber.I don’t know if Duck will ever be good enough but he does seem to have something you can’t quantify or measure. And he’s pretty poised.

Uncle Rico gets his big break...Nice move by Tomlin, Rudolph has stunk lately.
A secondary use for your Duck Caller is to blow it into your phone when telemarketers call.Everyone should run to their local Dick’s sporting goods store and buy a duck call whistle, especially if you’re going to Heinz Field on Sunday. Can you imagine duck calls every time the Steelers are on offense?
Lol...
Watching yesterday, I was questioning Rudolph's arm? His passes where lollipops, high arcing and soft. Duck seemed to put more zip on the ball. That said, neither has a future as an NFL starter IMO.Duck doesn't have much of an arm but at least he tries to go downfield. Rudolph playing like a coward doesn't give you a chance. He had to be benched.
neither arm looks that good but i just don't like Rudolph in the pocket.. he's got no sense of pressure, literal pressure. you are in there and the pocket collapses, it's time to do something brother. my man just sits there and watches the walls and ceiling cave in around him and he just watches..Watching yesterday, I was questioning Rudolph's arm? Quack, Quack!Ya but the Duck has earned a right to start the next game. He might not be the answer for the long haul but he did much better than Rudolph has done the last couple of weeks. GO DUCK!!!!!!!
When Hodges came into the game, I said he will get the ball out quick after spreading the field and complete short passes. He fooled them with the bomb. After the touchdown pass Hodges was 3 - 9 for 28 yards. If that's the answer I'm afraid to hear what the question was.
The reason they are not playing Rudolph is pretty much why they don't have Kaep starting. You have to be a tier 1 athlete to play with the controversy cloud over your head. Rudolph has not been separating himself from the backup QB and his presence starting would be a major distraction for the Cleveland game. If not for the helmet incident he would be starting. Coaches don't like distractions
But the Steelers are DUMB, they will try to force him out there to prove they where right.Wut?
This is a revenge game. If Rudolph remotely approached a competent QB, he would absolutely be out there. He's maybe the first QB in NFL history who was on pace for almost 470 attempts and under 3,000 yards. His AY/A is 5.5. That's behiind Joe Flacco, Mariota, and Andy Dalton.
Rudolph is terrible. Worst QB that I can remember who started at least half a season for the Steelers. He's Mitch Trubitsky level bad without the contract.
I'm not 100% certain that he will even be on the team next year.

You sound a lot like Ron Cook. Three or four games ago he talked about him turning a corner. Today, his career is over.Wut?
