Rutgers looks real competitive already under Schiano. The Knights were so hapless for a while. Wise of the school to rehire and support him.

1) Michigan looks like a completely different team with McNamara at QB. That turned the game around.

2) Schiano is turning things around and they play really hard. He got too conservative in the first OT on offense. They should have been more aggressive instead of playing for a long FG.

Hapless before and after Schiano. Good that the RU administration did not follow the same PC nonsense that Tennessee did. He will do as well there as anyone possibly could.

Schiano has them playing hard and they are competitive with pretty much the same roster. He is a good coach and that is the right place for him. He will never compete for a title but they will win games and he will be paid well for his efforts.
