Salaries for Football vs Basketball coaches

I almost hesitate to post this, because it seems like everything on this forum now causes consternation and defensiveness. I truly have no agenda other than asking the following question, how many college BB coaches make more than their school's college football coach.

I know tenure is important, and some are obvious. Coach K. Jim Boeheim. Calipari. I have to imagine Tom Crean. Jamie. I think Billy Donovan for sure. I am talking P5 conferences obviously also. We know the Nova's, Gonzaga's, Marquette's, G'town's, the BB coaches are top dog.

I imagine Pitino makes more than Petrino. Does Izzo make more than D'Antonio?

Again, a myriad of reasons why, including tenure, success, etc...

I dont know the answer but almost half of what Jamie made was in the form of bonuses, which can come in many shapes and forms. Jamie's base salary actually seems pretty low. I would guess Narduzzi makes more than Jamie before you factor in bonuses which both coaches have a somewhat equal chance to achieve.
