Citizen Bank has come out with their annual put down of all Teams Playing Penn State! It Is Banter, always was Banter, and always will be Banter too, so Song Change Back is also Banter and Tradition!
Personally, due to the Penn State Scandal and recognition to Penn State University 2012 Reforms that have made them a Better University and it is still a Great University!
As a sign of renewal and friendship, I would change the Penn Chant from "Penn State Sucks" to...........
"STEVE PEDERSON SUCKS"!
As way to make that a New Pitt Tradition in Memory of Pederson that was always so dedicated into New Pitt Innovative Expensive Consultant Re-Branding Changes that never worked, no way to better Honor Steve than with this Chant!
Pitt should Trademark it and Sell it with Royalties to Nebraska Alumni that would buy it too, they will add it to their Song too!
Just a suggestion and ask both Pitt and Penn State fans to join in and yell it for about 4 more years!
It is a show of Solidarity Together, and when Pitt Fans go to Beaver Stadium next year, Pitt Fans can accommodate the same and whatever Penn State Fans want us to shout with them too, on some of there own Re-Branding issues!
It is a great way to bring Traditions back, and all Cell Phones can be Tweeted to do that with unison with some access to both Ticket Buyers Emails. Leave that to PSU & PITT students to do it together.

The Penn State Culture of Football has been reformed by Penn State University and that is a good thing for everyone and something Penn State can embrace and be proud again as a Great Institution of Higher Learning.

I like many others feel that State Penn got off lightly and the fact the football at State Penn still exists (the very thing that was placed above children's innocence) disgusts me and many others to no end.
This is by no mean wrong at all, and many Programs like USC, Bama, Miami, OSU, Michigan and many Fans, Children Advocates and others do too?
It is disgusting, but PSU is now a Model of Children Abuse Counseling, Enforcement, and changed its Penn State Corrupt Football Culture and as you have said, most PSU Fans don't get it?
The Best & Brightest at Penn State did it too,to prevent disgusting behavior in the future, but we shall see? I am just glad it was stopped and corrected, but like you say, Children have the Nightmares but it is the PSU Cult Fan that has Nightmares it happen under Paterno and they were misled the entire time.
This is how fans on both sides behave in an intense college football rivalry. While perhaps some may be "above it all," there is no reason to attempt to remove the passion from those fans that have it. Hail to Pitt!
