and all I can say is WOW, does penn state look bad.
I fully expected them to roll Buffalo and that still may happen, but as of right now, with 10 minutes left in the 2nd quarter, it doesn't look like that will happen.
They literally may be the 3rd best college football program in the State of Pennsylvania behind Temple and Pitt.
Looks as if james from state college has his work cut out for him.
What a great time to be a fan of the University of Pittsburgh!!!!!

PITT.. 24/7

Impossible that Penn St. would ever benefit from a ref missing a call. Before being allowed to referee a Penn St, game, all officials must agree to screw over the Nitters at every opportunity.

"Dominate the State" is a cool motto. Maybe Franklin can use it at his next job if he is coaching in someplace like Maine or Delaware.

Man, that didn't look good. That feeling that his football playing days may be over must hurt worse than his leg. Not great to see that.

Watching Penn State be a mess on the field... now that is great.

Penn State had a 75 minute scoring drought, from the 1st quarter vs. Temple to the 2nd quarter vs. Buffalo. Wow...just wow.

The Nits can't blow this one. If Buffalo was even "respectable", they'd be winning this game by now. But they're not.

Cook already has his opening line written: "In the face of insurmountable odds, the Nittany Lions were victorious in front of a loud, raucous, crowd in State College, PA."

I don't even think that's something that's up for discussion. Pitt and Temple right now are far superior to Penn State. Pitt did not play bad against Youngstown other than turnovers. With Hackenburg at qb Youngstown beats PSU by at least 2 TDs this year 9 times out of 10.

Yeah not even debatable. Pitt and Temple both far superior to Penn State this year. Pitt didn't play bad against Youngstown other than turnovers. Youngstown is just a really good FCS team now with Pelini coaching (also Tressel influence as prez). Youngstown beats Penn State by at least 2 TDs this year 9 times out of 10. Not trying to knock them we obviously had a Youngstown mishap a few years back, but if you've watched Penn State so far this year it's obvious: they are a really bad P5 football team.
I think Bucknell, Lehigh, and Lafayette have something to say about that.

27-14, final.

The line was -18. Against Temple it was -7. They are 29 points worse than the line through 2 games.

Auburn is now 37 points worse than the line through 2 games (-10 vs Lville, -41 vs JaxSt), which includes winning by 7 in OT.

Ped State and Auburn are a combined 3-1, but still neck and neck for the title of most underwhelming team in relation to expectations.

I blame the bookmakers. Even the bookmakers don't realize how bad the Nits are playing.

They're still going by the myth that Hackenburg is a big time college quarterback and NFL prospect that's why the bookmakers think they'll actually play well. Hell in reality, Hackenburg is the worst qb in the country right now as far as D1 at least. Oh well though, not our concern.

There is still an hour to go before kickoff so yes Hackensack stinks! Ped U’s OL stinks even more! Jenkins made a good decision because as bad as his footwork looked he will still get a chance to play up there.
