Lose staring QB (Stull-Browne) can't decide between 2 QBs all year (Bostik,Smith-DiNucci,Pickett) going into last game of season against a ranked #2 team with high hopes for a championship and Pitt coming in with only 4 wins with a lot of questions.

I was going to post the same thing. Even throw in that we will have a true freshman playing QB just like 2007 and a coach finishing a disappointing 3rd season.
That 2007 was considerably more talented than this team I think and Wanny had a great class lined up. That team was an average QB away from being QB. The program was trending up.
Another difference is the game is pretty meaningless to Miami other than for seeding purposes. If they lose to us beat Clemson, they are in with the SEC champ, Big 12 champ, and Big 10 champ.

If that happens I think they would be excluded for Alabama if the Tide loses to Auburn who then loses to Georgia. I just can’t see a Miami team with a loss to 5-7 Pitt getting in over a 1 loss Alabama team, even though they didn’t make the SEC final.
Maybe the field will be a mess....Hate to to ruin your dreams , but I attended the last two Miami games and there’s too much speed and talent for Pitt to handle . Best case is a close game otherwise it could get ugly .
You're out of your mind. Pitt loses by 40.
It's going to be a lot of fun to watch Pitt spoil Miami's perfect season next week.
I don't think so. Miami would have 2 Top 10 wins over Clemson and ND....and would be a champion. Alabama's best wins would be LSU and Miss St.
Both would be 11-1. Miami would have better wins but a much worse loss, but I think their championship is the tiebreaker.
Perhaps Bama would get in over 11-2 Ohio State?
Only hope as far as I can see . Miami looked flat today after their big win , but still had too much for Va. They look to be vulnerable to a strong armed qb , but they still managed a touchdown off an interception .Maybe the field will be a mess....
