The worst coach in storied WKU basketball history. They have a chance to make a real splash here.

Man, your idea of what good coaches are is very weird. WKU has traditionally been a good mid major that consistently went dancing
Right. CUSA was awful under Stansbury and he’s the only WKU coach to not go to the NCAA tournament. He also had more talent than CUSA
The Toppers have been dancing 4 times in the last 20 years. They haven't been consistently since Dennis Felton was there.
Stansbury was 139-76 overall, 69-35 in CUSA at WKU.
He also won 5 division championships, 1 SEC Championship, and 2 SEC Tournament titles at Mississippi State.
432-242 overall for his career.
Should I conclude Ben Howland sucks because Richard Williams and Rick Stansbury had a lot more success at Mississippi State? No. That would be idiotic.
Now tell me about Ray Harper, Murray Arnold, Matt Kilcullen, and Ken McDonald. Is Stansbury worse than those guys?

WKU went dancing 7 times since 2000 none with stansbury. That’s almost every two years before he got there which is better than a ton of p5 schools.
Also they have gone five times the last twenty years. You can’t help but to lie
How many of those other coaches had 5 4 stars on their roster in a watered down CUSA too
Also, Ray Harper Is a much better coach. You don’t win like 6 NAIA championships and 3 runner ups and not be better than Rick Freaking Stansbury

This year is over for WKU. If you count 2003, it would be 5, which still proves my point about the last 20 years.
Now compare his resume and Richard Williams to Ben Howland's at Mississippi State and tell me how Ben sucks.

Rick Stansbury = excellent Cheater and recruiter and a terrible coach. Not one person on earth disagrees with this statement except for the guy who thinks Kevin Stallings was good lol
And that's neither here nor there, as Ray is never going to have the opportunity to coach at the college P6 level.
There are a long list of coaches that killed promising careers with personal vices. Did Ray hangout with Billy Clyde?
BTW, What was Ray's undoing at WKU? Wasn't there some sort of scandal?

Being an excellent cheater/recruiter is part of it. If you want to go there with Stansbury, then I'm kinda on the same page with you. However, if I were a Mississippi State fan, I can live with mediocre coaching when you can out-cheat Mark Gottfried to land Mario Austin.

If you give Stackhouse 16 years, I’ll let you know. The program was a mess when he took over and he was learning how to coach in college. He’s look pretty damn good the last few weeks. One of the best x and o guys in the business and as you know, that’s what Vandy needs. Not a roll the ball out guy like Bryce Drew
Bryce Drew took Vandy to the NCAA Tournament his first year. You can't judge someone on a 2 or 3 year sample size. Especially pre-portal.

So Bryce Drew sucks because he went 0-18 his third year, yet he went to the Big dance his first year. Stackhouse has yet to sniff a NCAA Tourney.
How did he do that?

Bryce Drew is fine. But no one would confuse him with a great X and O coach. Watch them tonight in the WAC final. They have superior talent to the league. Great recruiter. Let’s his guy play like Capel.
