He's a gritty true freshman and I have some hope for our future. But when you look at his advanced stats he's actually been awful as a passer. It's just not a conversation you can have on this board while we're beating mediocre teams because out fans are incapable of nuance.

I believe Cover 3 said he leads the P4 in turnover-worthy passes, for instance.

I've said all year he is antsy in the pocket and had happy feet and poor mechanics. So far, I tip my cap to him for overcoming it. But... this schedule is very backloaded.

Short arming every throw and hasn’t even attempted anything beyond about 10 yards. Footwork has been bad. Arm looks weak. He looks terrible. And that’s even when he’s not being pressured, which isn’t often.

He does it all the time. Usually when the other team has 4th and 5, and then the D gives up the first down.
