Now I know what Syracuse felt like at halftime, complete disaster. But for us, it is in every phase of the game.
Maybe if we played like an actual P4 football team they wouldn’t have the opportunity to act that way. Pitt has nobody to blame but themselves. That was the most pathetic half of football I have seen in many years.

Right. Kinda like DBs that talk smack and taunt after making a hit on a guy who just gained 15 yards.
I saw quite a few of those displays out of our high class crew in the early part of this game.
Pitt isn’t as bad as they look and SMU isn’t as good as they look. A perfect storm tonight, but regardless SMU is the better team. There was a reason they were the favorite tonight.
Agreed. No fight in this team tonight. If you don't want the oposing kicker to taunt you, show some fight.

He has clearly not been playing well the last few weeks but you can’t make a quick decision when your receivers are being covered by the entire second and third level of the defense.
SMU is just rushing 4. How do you quickly throw against that?

Maybe but we would have all taken 8-4/9-3. I said 9-3 after Syracuse and I still think that.
Our receivers are not open. I don't think they understand the concepts of a zone defense and how to sit down in the gaps. That is why Eli is holding it forever.
I said the same thing. And was probably called a clown for doing so, lol. But the fact of the matter is our record, in thr context of what a 7-0 for a P4 team would typically constitute, is a lot better than the talent we have.

We both thought this was a 3-9 type team. In reality, its a 7-5 type team based on talent. Won all the 50/50 games so we'll finish 9-3. Good season.
I think we all would have accepted if we played well, gave them a game, and still lost. This, however, has been a complete embarassment.

SMU looks significantly better than us in every single position. Had I been in a coma all season, I would have thought this was a 2-5 Pitt team. SMU looks so much better.
SMU was given the death penalty, and they are STILL better than Pitt. Every Pitt fan should be embarrassed.
