Pitt did beat Georgetown 78-64 today. Here are a few more notes I've gathered:

- Ishmael Leggett was the star of this one. He was Pitt's leading scorer with 20 points on 7-of-10 shooting, and he added 5 rebounds and 5 assists.

- Bub Carrington had a big one, too, shooting 60% from the floor to score 16 points and dishing out 5 assists himself.

- Blake Hinson wasn't the star of this one - he shot a low percentage but still scored 13 points and grabbed 7 rebounds.

- Pitt scored 10 three-pointers in this one: Hinson and Leggett made 3 each, while Zach Austin, both Diaz Graham twins and Jaland Lowe made 1 each.

- Overall, this was a pretty good day for Pitt. The development of the backcourt is going to be probably the biggest key to the season, and it seems like those guys played really well today. We all have a lot of confidence in the front court 3-5, but getting 1 and 2 playing well - which it seems like they did with Carrington and Leggett - is huge.
