Don't be surprised if you start to hear rumblings about PITT not playing at Heinz in the next year with other suitors.

I'm confused. Why? And, there's absolutely no where else they could play remotely close to Pittsburgh with proper capacity outside of a PNC Park retrofit for football. So, again, I'm confused.

The authority gave itself an extension to 2046....not sure they will be around then.

If there are no/reduced fans they could play in a number of places. Although then not playing at all is also a likely option.

So what exactly is happening here? Can you elaborate, please? What are you hearing exactly? And, what's Pitt's plan? Thanks!

I think any stadium change would have to come between 2027-2030. I think that is the point....the city better gets its act together in the next 4 years or PITT and the Steelers may be gone.

The Steelers aren't leaving the North Side, the Rooney's have way to much money invested in the North Shore and nowhere in the region can afford the money the Steelers would want for building them a stadium. Remember thanks to Las Vegas the new minimum for government stadium money is $750 million, does anyone think Butler or Washington counties can afford that? The Rooney's are playing the long con and will hit up the taxpayers every few years for "improvements" like the redo of the south end zone area.

Sounds like there is some growing agreement for a right sized stadium, as some of us have said for years/decades now.

Well,

The highest point on campus, with the best view of downtown,

Is the newly proposed lacrosse field on the OC lot.

For anyone interested, a lacrosse field measures 110 yards across and 60 yards deep.

Run with it, beyotches.....

Nothing to run with. Pitt bot and administration don't have the testicular fortitude to make it happen.

Why would I be against it?
I actually have season tickets for a long time and go to games
Your tv view won’t be changed

Because you have said many times that new stadiums are money losers.
