Yet we see tens of thousands die from it every year.
Trump wants the supply cut off. Thus, the tariffs.
People die and have been dying from all kinds of drugs, not just Fentanyl.
The tariffs are BS and having a terrible impact on everyday Americans. Anyone can say no to drugs, but hard working families all across the country are going to be suffering financial pain at no fault of their own because of Trump’s tariffs.

The answer comes in getting individuals to realize their life means something and they are worthwhile. It can come in many forms depending on the individual. If you are a Christian, then you should already know that finding salvation in Jesus Christ is one path for many.
True. That should definitely happen. I'm guessing that IS happening. Still, tens of thousands are dying. The supply needs to be cut off.
It sounds like you would like all govt support programs cut so your taxes can be cut.
It depends on the government program. Some programs should be reduced or cut.
There needs to be more attention given to mental health issues and awareness about the impact of drugs. If someone can get their hands on Fentanyl, then they can also get their hands on other harmful drugs like Heroin.
I believe in assisting the needy, elderly, and people with disabilities. I don’t believe in lining the pockets of the rich who take advantage of the system. Does that answer your question?
I'm just trying to define the line where your caring for people stops due to your wallet. I haven't determined it yet. You seem to care about some who need help but want others to die because of inflation.
I’ve already clearly explained how I’d help people with drug issues. If you choose not to read the prior posts, then that is on you.
I explained that is already happening to little effect on deaths. To your point, our church has a ministry specifically to help the addicted. We are doing exactly what you want and have been for years.
I can answer yes, when I was younger. Someone who is addicted will find things that are just as dangerous through a drug dealer even if you reduce the Fentanyl coming in. People have been producing drugs in labs for a long time. There was China White Lab in my hometown as a kid. This was a white suburban town no less. You can easily find products in Home Depot, Walmart, and other places to do enough damage to create a drug to kill yourself.
You have to get to the individual and get them help. Then target the drug dealers and put them behind bars. That is how you help the problem with drug usage.

The Trump tariffs are moronic. Regardless of what excuse he gives for them, the guy clearly has a hard on for tariffs. He's flirting with disaster here. Not sure why anyone would support those. The Trump tariff thing is just weird, tbh.
The fentanyl problem came about because of the crackdown on diversion of prescription opioids. The law of unintended consequences at play. It was well intentioned to crack down on the oxycodone, but it actually made the problem worse.

Let's try another cases. RFK wants to ban a lot of food additives that are contributing to our health problems. Many are already banned in other western countries. He acknowledges that prices will increase as better alternatives are included. Are you willing to pay more for this or are you going to whine about it too?
When did Heroin become a "thing" again? In HS and college I never knew or even heard of anyone doing this. It was either a relic from the 70's past or provenance of the music industry. All of a sudden, it is in every bedroom suburban community which is what has led to the entrance of Fentanyl.
Put warning labels on the product and educate people. I don’t believe in banning cigarettes or alcohol either, even though everyone knows the harmful effects it can have on the individual and others.

I don't like the Canada/Mexico tariffs. I'm OK with reciprocal tariffs to create fair trade.
The govt needs funded. I do favor some taxes and am opposed to other taxes. Is that so hard for you to understand?
