I don't have much of an opinion on it, honestly. I like him and that's a tough place to win. But what do you have to lose by rolling the dice in hoping for someone who is a little more successful?

Well, depends on your definition of winning. If they schedule correctly, they should be able to make a bowl more often than not. Hard to say their goals should be any loftier than that, though.

What are the odds someone mentions him for Pitt OC when Narduzzi is just getting ready to start interviewing at the AFCA convention in January?
He did a decent job for Syracuse, but they've been very mediocre. So, I don’t see a problem with trying something new.
About a million percent odds that Pitt fans clamor for him to be the new OC. I doubt it happens, though. And I sure as hell hope Narduzzi finds someone before the portal opens this time. If he waits until the convention again, it will be another tally in the "this dude just doesn't get it" column.
I don't know about OC, but I do like when there are former head coaches on a coaching staff.

He did manage to beat Pitt with virtually no passing game and a tight end as his leading rusher. I would take him over what we have as OC.
At one point in time, a Syracuse offer was one that caught the eyes of rival schools. Syracuse had really good coaches who had a great eye for talent. It was also considered a "cool" college in the late 80's thru the 90's. They had a huge presence in central/eastern PA and NJ that just went away in the early 2000's.
Fine people and some nice lakes and places…but the winters are long and miserable in Cuse.
The guy at Cuse never seemed to have a QB….sound familiar.

He's the guy that let Cause slide into the abyss of mediocrity. Other than 2001 team, I don't think they won more than 6 games in his last 5 years.

Nah. He's 62 & making $680K per year. If he's offered, he should take it.
And tbh, I can't see him becoming any more attractive candidate than he is now.

They have a QB Jakhari Williams 6’3 Uber athletic kid from Georgia. Also, they have a kid I’ve never heard of from Keystone Oaks committed Clinton Robinson, but did not have a Pitt offer.Are there any Syracuse recruits that Pitt could sway?
