How many times do you have to see those guys have trouble catching hard passes from short range in traffic before you understand that making that pass is not a good idea?
Apparently a lot.
It is when everyone in the whole world knows that those guys can't catch hard passes thrown at them from five feet away. How many times do you (and I don't mean you specifically) need to see those guys not be able to catch those passes before you understand that they can't catch those passes?
If you keep beating your head against a wall and the wall doesn't fall over it's not the wall's fault that your head hurts.

In fairness McGowan seemed to be on the bench a while with his eye injury
9-0 run to the close the half turns a 12 point deficit and things looking terrible for Pitt into a 3 point deficit and giving Pitt a chance heading into the 2nd half. Hopefully get McGowens more involved in the 2nd half and Capel will make some adjustments how to beat this zone. This once again is another very winnable game for Pitt as we go into the 2nd half.
True, but he's also 0-4 from the field. We need him to make a couple of his next four. And then a couple more of the four after that.
JWF has stepped up today. He's made enough outside shots to keep us in the game and has played well. Good to see.
Syracuse has only made 28% of their twos. If they cool off from three and we can continue to hold them like that from two then we will win.

Syracuse is shooting way above their season 3 point shooting average. Their offense has done nothing except shoot long jumpers, and they are not a typical good shooting team. Just dont turn it over in the 2nd half like the first,and we should have a good chance to win
We actually did a really good job with the turnovers later in the half. We had five turnovers in the first eight minutes, and then only three the rest of the half.
