Taking OOC games more seriously

UVa wouldn't beat me, you, Werewolf, BballinsiderfromPitt and whatever handle Recruits is using nowadays by 50. Would probably be 57-12. They cant score. But even if UVa beat Mizzou by 20 and we lost to A&M by 20, we are in.

Well they probably play too slowly to beat anyone by 50. But then again, if you actually understand what the NET is measuring, teams that play slow don't have to win the game by as many points as teams that play fast to get the same "bump".

So yeah, maybe not 50. But they won games by 30, 29, 29, 22 (a Syracuse team that we couldn't beat), 30, 35, 22 and 22 (a Miami team that we couldn't beat). So let's not pretend that they weren't good enough to absolutely pound some teams, a couple of which were much better than Missouri.

And Missouri wasnt that bad back then. Yea, they lost to Jackson State. And UVa beat NE by 2. Mizzou could have possibly beaten UVa. Probably not but their talent levels are similar.

Yeah, that earthquake that swallowed up half of their team back then really killed them. Bad break there for them.
